# Summary

Authorize up to 135k MORPHO tokens for further rewards on Unichain.

# Context

The current [rewards campaign](https://forum.morpho.org/t/mip-103-incentives-distribution-on-unichain/1789) on Unichain will end on Monday at 3PM CET. This is a proposal to allocate up to 135k MORPHO tokens in further incentives on Unichain, to facilitate a more gradual tapering of rewards rates.

## Proposal Detail

The full budget of 135k MORPHO tokens will **not necessarily be spent** , but is a total allocation which will allow the Morpho Association to respond to market conditions and external grant opportunities such as the recent [CFM campaign](https://x.com/butterygg/status/1943707309492068842) which in which Morpho won a $100k grant.

If the proposal is approved by the DAO, the Morpho Association will set an initial rewards rate with further changes governed by the [Optimistic Rewards Framework v1.1](https://forum.morpho.org/t/mip-109-optimistic-rewards-v1-1/1855).
