Following the [MIP 120 - Compound V2 and Aave V2 Optimizers Deprecation Final Phase](https://forum.morpho.org/t/mip-120-compound-v2-and-aave-v2-optimizers-deprecation-final-phase/2038), and now that the largest borrowers has closed its position we’re proposing to fully deprecate the Aave V3 Optimizer instance.

Currently there is $162m of deposits and only around $230k of borrow. Given the relatively small amount of active loans, we propose deprecating all markets and covering any losses for users who would contact the Morpho Association.

**Important: As a reminder, deprecating a market puts all borrow positions liquidatable regardless of their health factor.**

Contrary to Aave V2 and Compound V2 Optimizers we won’t propose the full pausing of all entry points to the smart contracts as the deposited amount is still significant. However, we highly encourage current users to migrate their positions asap by contacting the [support](https://help.morpho.org/en).

The target date is December 1, 2025, giving the last borrowers time to exit their positions.
