Summary
Authorize a one-off payment so Spark receives the full grant it would have earned had the eligibility change applied from the start of the measurement period. Spark became eligible under the updated policy, but the Olympics budget for that window was already exhausted, so its grant was prorated.
Context
- MIP-119 updated AMO rules, making Spark fully eligible to earn Olympic rewards.
- Morpho Olympics applies proportional haircuts to grants when the total 10M cap is reached.
- Spark qualified after the policy change, but only for the final computation where the total amount was distributed pro rata.
- Had MIP-119 been executed earlier, Spark would have been eligible for the full amount.
Proposal
We propose paying the full amount:
- Pay 1,239,393.94 MORPHO to Spark, with the standard Olympics vesting schedule (1-year linear).
- Scope: Single exception, limited to Spark.
Rationale
Fairness and consistency: Align the payout with DAO-approved eligibility without altering Olympics rules or caps going forward.
