Summary

The Morpho Association proposes to replace Vincent Danos and Pierre Laurent as multisig signers with Guillaume Nervo and Pablo Veyrat, who have recently become advisors for the Morpho Association.

Motivation

Guillaume and Pablo have a deep expertise in DeFi through their experience at Angle and Merkl, and will help to improve the security of Morpho by carefully verifying complex transactions, which will become increasingly important as the DAO transitions to full onchain governance with deployments on multiple networks.

Quick question though, what is the rationale behind this decision?

Are Vincent Danos and Pierre Laurent stepping down? Or were they underperforming and needed to be replaced?

As noted briefly in the motivation section, the rationale is to increase the availability and technical expertise of the multisig signers. This should be understood to reflect positively on Guillaume and Pablo rather than negatively on the departing signers.
