Hello Morpho Community,

The Avantgarde team is excited to formally introduce ourselves as a new curator on Morpho. We are thrilled to bring our expertise in on-chain asset management to the Morpho ecosystem and to announce the launch of our first Morpho V1 vaults which have been live since July.

For those who are not familiar with us, Avantgarde is a crypto-native asset management firm that has been building in DeFi since 2016, applying institutional discipline on-chain to activate idle capital and deliver sustainable, risk-adjusted returns at the digital asset frontier.

Our team brings decades of combined experience from TradFi and as co-founders of the asset management protocol Enzyme. This unique blend of experience allows us to combine rigorous risk-management and capital-markets expertise with a deep, hands-on understanding of DeFi protocols, different blockchain ecosystems, and their underlying infrastructure.

We are proud to serve as a trusted strategic partner to leading crypto organizations and protocols, including Uniswap, Arbitrum, Nexus Mutual, Compound, and Gitcoin, through our curated vault strategies, bespoke treasury management solutions, and active participation in DAO governance.

Our Curation Approach

At Avantgarde, we take a risk-managed approach to our vault allocations, with a balanced focus on sustainable yield generation and strategic diversification. Our methodology is data driven and informs our selection of eligible markets and the construction of our portfolios.

Our process can be broken down as follows:

  • Data-Driven Market Selection: We leverage on-chain data to identify a universe of eligible markets that meet our criteria for liquidity, security, and yield potential.

  • Risk-Managed Portfolio Construction: Our portfolio construction methodology is designed to balance risk and reward. We set conservative limits on the amount of capital that can be allocated to any single market to avoid over-concentration and to ensure the overall stability of our vaults.

  • Dynamic Rebalancing: The DeFi landscape is constantly evolving, and so are our strategies. We continuously monitor market conditions and rebalance our vault allocations as needed to optimize for the best risk-adjusted returns.
