Our team at August is excited to onboard to Morpho as a vault curator, supporting the growth and adoption of the Morpho ecosystem. August was founded in 2022 and built the leading DeFi prime brokerage platform, which offers institutional funds the highest level of execution, risk-management and capital efficiency when trading onchain.
We raised our seed round the week of the FTX collapse, on the premise that OTC credit in DeFi needed much greater transparency and secure execution. Today, August facilitates $7 billion in monthly volume. Our team specializes in delivering an institutional-grade trading experience across over 20 chains, 70 protocols and 800 assets. These innovations reflect the core competencies we have developed around DeFi risk management. We already work closely with the Morpho team as an underlying yield source in our Upshift yield strategy vaults which hold over $400M TVL, and are looking forward to contributing to the ecosystem as curators
