Morpho Open Governance Call — January 9, 2025

Hey gm community!

As discussed during the final weeks of 2024, delegates are in favor of a monthly governance call. This would help us better organize and bring resources together as a community.

DAOplomats is helping coordinate this effort and we have created a public-facing calendar. You can view that here.

We are aware other meetings could take off after this first one so if there are calls you want to add to the calendar, you can ping me/anyone in DAOplomats or post it in the delegates TG group and we will add it.

Agenda

This first call is going to be light. Not much of an agenda but here’s a direction we propose:

  1. Introductions
  2. MIP 88 - Oku Crosschain Deployment Support by @GFXlabs
  3. Call for Grants
    a. @OneTrueKirk take
    b. General opinions from delegates

Please post in this thread if you want to bring something up during the meeting so we can plan accordingly and update the agenda.

We will record the call and publish it later for public review, so please keep that in mind.

There was a bit of a hiccup with the recording but the minutes above is well detailed.

The next call’s date has been tentatively set for Thursday, February 6, 2025.
