Grant Update: Re7 Labs Whitelabel Frontend

In collaboration with Paperclip Labs, we are excited to share the Morpho Blueprint, an open-source Morpho frontend that can be deployed by curators or ecosystem participants, targeting continued Morpho expansion across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Our MIP-93-funded grant went towards the development of this open-source framework designed for builders. The goal is expanding Morpho’s presence and simplifying user access in these networks, while giving curators, users and other community members a starting building block for accessing Morpho.

Key Features:

  • Whitelable design system: both the UI design and code base have been crafted for max customization. Changing colors, fonts, and other cosmetic elements is easily done within configuration files. This makes for easy deployment to new chains or for specific use cases.

  • Starting set of pages and components for interacting with Morpho: there is an earn page listing vaults, a borrow page listing markets, individual market pages, and individual vault pages. Each has straightforward and extensible UI components.

  • Flexible code for further extensions and growth: with a streamlined framework for deploying the frontend with backend indexing services like Whisk and important protocol information pulled in, the code framework allows for further experimentation and changes.

We have deployed a beta frontend that supports access to Re7 Labs vaults, supporting over $120m in Re7 Labs vaults supplying to markets with $1.4 billion borrowed. Teams are already integrating with this front end with many more expected on the way. Two examples from Plume network are Solera and Mystic.

We have further exciting development updates planned for Morpho Blueprint based on many feature requests from partners for further enhancements. This includes a thorough security review by third-party auditor, where findings will also be used for more improvements.

We invite the Morpho community to take Morpho Blueprint forward as a starting point for building with the Morpho stack. Re7 Labs continues to pioneer Morpho deployments on new chains. We expect the Morpho Blueprint frontend to be a useful tool in the further expansion within new ecosystems. If your chain or ecosystem is interested in building with Morpho, please reach out as we are eager to onboard new use cases for this work.
